In
addition to antenna measurement systems, NSI offers chamber
design and construction services. A chamber is an integral
component of a complete system as it bounds the environment
in which measurements will be performed.
Parameters
to be controlled include temperature, humidity, RF reflection,
RF shielding and mechanical stability. The desire to
control these parameters require a formal facility design
and integration review, since the chamber forms the interface
between an existing facility and the antenna test equipment.
NSI
includes this design review when supplying chambers.
The chamber design activity may include
structural design, power supply, heating, ventilation,
air conditioning, control line filtering, lighting and
radiation safety. NSI can provide the design or specification
of these items. In addition to these activities, NSI
also provides verification testing as an option.
